Developer apps cydia launch release Appellancy, This tweak works with iOS 8 or higher. Appellancy jailbreak tweak for use facial recognition to unlock your iOS device. If the face of the person trying to get into your iOS device matches the face that the tweak was taught, then the device will unlock automatically. On the other hand, if the face of the person trying to get into your iOS device doesn’t match the face that the tweak was taught, then the device will say “Face not recognized” and refuse to unlock for the user.

When you first start the tweak, it’ll ask you to take a minimum of 5 photos of yourself. It’s fairly simple in its workings and kicks into action as soon as you wake your iOS device. It’s pretty fast too, if it recognizes your face and can also skip passcode locks.

Because Appellancy uses the camera, it will have an effect on the battery life. However, Appellancy only uses the camera when it needs to, which minimizes the effect on the battery, so battery usage should be almost unnoticeable. After installation you can optin to configure from Setting app.
