Apple iDevice July 1, 2013

iH8sn0w just updated iFaith v1.5.9, added support for the new Apple TV firmware iOS 5.3 (10B809) This new version also fixed some bugs.  iFaith allows you to dump shsh blobs for the current firmware even if Apple is not signing. With iFaith, A4 devices can be downgraded to a lower firmware than the current running. For example, your device is now running on iOS 5.1.1, and Apple has stopped signing 5.0 – 5.1.1 firmware, then we can not save the shsh blobs for 5.1.1 with Cydia or TinyUmbrella, but iFaith can do it.

What’s new in iFaith 1.5.9

  • Now dumps AppleTV 2 models running 5.3/10B809.
  • Fixed bug when when building signed IPSWs with iPhone3,2 blobs.
  • Fixed bug with apticket validation causing a client-side crash on machines not connected to the internet.
