Joshua Hill a.k.a p0sixninja, unveiled a new project he had been working on called “OpenJailbreak.” The project is an open source jailbreak repository that allows developers to work collectively on future jailbreak releases.
OpenJailbreak.org is the official website for the project which seems to be work in progress. The home page give the looks of a GitHub page, home page showing the most recent projects and you can list all the projects. Currently, the site contains various libraries IPSW files, HFD partition formats, DMG files and more. The site is running on Redmine, which is a flexible project management web application developed by Jean-Philippe Lang. Looking at it, it actually has some handy features like role based access control, a flexible issue tracking system, and multiple project support.
The person who is serious in the jailbreak can now make contributions to the source. Preferably this repo will permit the developers explore in future OS versions for the Apple gadgets very much quicker.
