Apple has announced the all new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The devices feature all new cameras, water resistance, stereo speakers, and a longer battery life.
The internal components of the iPhone 7 have been updated with a faster processor. The enclosure of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus looks quite similar to the same as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, though the rear of the device has been slightly changed so that the obvious antenna bands are no longer stretching across the back of the device. Additionally, the iPhone 7 is available in a new shiny jet black color and a new matte black color, alongside the typical silver, gold, and rose gold colors.
Both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus features larger camera hole at their rear. There is 12MP camera sensor on the back of both models. The larger sibling features a dual 12MP sensor with additional imaging capabilities. Both iPhones have a quad LED true tone flash. On the front side, there is a 7MP FaceTime camera. The part where Apple engineers have truly showed off their work is the all-new, depth-of-field effect which basically is DSLR quality material. But this feature is going to be introduced later this year.
We know this was coming and it did come out to be true. Apple has finally let go off the 3.5mm headphone jack and is now focusing on wireless as the future. You will still get the converter for your current headphones but Apple has focused a lot on the wireless AirPods, that are custom designed by Apple for superior sound quality. They are going to come in a casing which can be used for 24 hours while the AirPods themselves can be used for five hours straight. But this comes at a steep price of $160.
Price of the new iPhone 7 starts at $649, as usual, but the iPhone 7 Plus gets little higher starting at price of $769. Both iPhones comes in three storage options 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. And also note that the new glossy Jet Black is only available in 128GB and 256GB storage option model.
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available for order at September 9 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US.
