The Cydia Tweak FlashAlert has been officially released and works with devices that have iOS 9 or higher. FlashAlert is a new jailbreak tweak allows you configure custom LED flash patterns for your incoming notifications on a per-app basis. After installation you can option to configure from Setting app, From there you will take control on how you want to use the LED flash light on your iPhone. There is the option to disable LED flash notifications when you switch DND mode. At the same time, you can limit the tweak to work on the Lock screen only.

When the battery level is low, you may find it necessary to disable some apps. FlashAlert offers an option to do so. Further options are actually the juicy part of the tweak. Such configurable options include:

  • Selecting app that will use LED flash
  • Choosing the frequency of the LED flash
  • Setting the number of times the LED flash will repeat

Finally, to try the FlashAlert tweak, head over to the Cydia’s BigBoss repository. First time download will cost you $1.99. FlashAlert should run smoothly on devices with iOS 9 although you can also try it on another iOS version.
