iOS 11.3.1 Released for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Apple on Tuesday released iOS 11.3.1, the thirteenth official update to the iOS 11 operating system. iOS 11.3.1 comes nearly one month after the launch of iOS 11.3, an update that introduced a Battery Health feature for keeping tabs on your iPhone’s battery status, Business Chat for Messages, new Animoji for iPhone X, and more. OS 11.3.1 introduces performance improvements and bug fixes for issues that have been discovered since the launch of iOS 11.3. The update includes a fix for a bug that caused third-party repairs done on iPhone 8 models using aftermarket parts to disable the touch functionality of the screen.

iOS 11.3.1 is available as an Over-the-Air (OTA) upgrade, which means it can easily be installed by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Once you’re there, the iOS will check for the available upgrades. Adhere to the on-screen instruction to install the available iOS 11.3.1 upgrades.

Since iOS 11.3 is a milestone update, I would recommend you to clean install it on your device. Since the clean installation involved wiping the device, it is suggested to have a backup of your device either using iTunes or iCloud. When you’ve backed up all of your important apparatus, you can download the full-sized IPSW files in the download links below and flash it using iTunes.
